The SID’s supremely svelte design puts hill-charging race-winning lightweight suspension in a stiff 32mm chassis that doesn’t flinch when the tread gets tough. Combining the uber-light Dual Air spring with BlackBox Motion Control and the PowerBulge design of the lower legs, the SID offers unparalleled smoothness and control in the world of lightweight suspension. At a slim 1400g (World Cup), you might hear people call you a weight weenie – that is, if they weren’t so far behind you.
Dual Air: With independently adjustable positive and negative air spring chambers, the Dual Air is race or trail ready, highly tuneable and one of the lightest air spring systems on the market.
Dual Flow: Suspension shouldn’t wallow in rock gardens or buck after big drops. That’s why Dual Flow incorporates independent damping circuits allowing separate rebound speeds for big hits and small ones. A user-adjustable knob controls the beginning-stroke (small hit) rebound and a factory set ending-stroke (big hit) rebound creates the perfect suspension for whatever the trail (or park) throws your way. Now tuning your suspension for your unique needs is as easy as clicking toward the turtle or the “jackalope.”
